Why fly with Patriot

A flight built around your
itinerary, not the calendar’s.

A charter flight means renting the entire aircraft to fly at your own pace: you leave at the time that suits you, from the airport that’s most convenient, with no connections you didn’t choose. We handle the aircraft, permits, crew and schedule, and give you a fixed price before you confirm.

We’re a direct operator, not a broker reselling the flight: fewer links in the chain, faster answers and a single person in charge of your flight. See the aircraft available in our fleet.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about charter flights

It’s renting an entire aircraft for a route, date and schedule that you define; you don’t buy individual seats or tie yourself to commercial timetables. You can see the aircraft available in our fleet.

It’s billed mainly by flight hour and depends on the aircraft model, the route and any waiting time. Each flight is quoted individually with a fixed price. Request a tailored estimate on our quote your flight page.

“Charter flight” and “private flight” are usually synonyms: you rent the aircraft to your specifications. An empty leg is different: you take advantage of a leg the aircraft is already going to fly empty, at a preferential rate but with a fixed route and date.

Ideally a few days ahead to secure availability and permits, though in many cases we arrange flights with less notice. If your date is close, write to us and we’ll confirm the real feasibility.

Any domestic destination with an airport or authorized airfield, and international routes depending on the aircraft. One advantage of a charter is access to small runways that commercial flights don’t serve, getting you much closer to your final destination.

It depends on the assigned aircraft: from 4 to more than 12 passengers. When you request a quote, tell us how many are traveling and how much luggage, since weight affects range and the recommended model. See options in our fleet.

Quick guide

Charter flights in Mexico: how they work and when they make sense

A charter flight solves a very specific problem: traveling on the schedule you need, directly to your destination and without depending on commercial flight availability. You rent the entire aircraft and the itinerary is built around your agenda, not the other way around.

Who is a charter flight right for?

  • Business trips with a tight agenda: several cities in a single day and home by night.
  • Groups and families who want to fly together, on their own schedule and with luggage free of commercial restrictions.
  • Destinations without a direct flight, where commercial travel forces long connections or doesn’t reach at all.
  • Events, weddings and leisure trips where time and privacy are worth more than the price of a seat.

What determines the price of a charter

The rate isn’t a fixed number; it’s built from several components:

  • Flight hours, which are the basis of the calculation.
  • Aircraft model and its passenger capacity.
  • Positioning: whether the aircraft has to travel from its base to your origin.
  • Waiting time at destination, when the crew and aircraft stay at your disposal.
  • Airport fees, permits and ground services.

That’s why each flight is quoted individually. If you want reference ranges before requesting your quote, request a tailored estimate on our quote your flight page.

Charter, private flight and empty leg: how to choose

A charter flight and a private flight are, in practice, the same thing: full control of route and schedule. The empty leg is the economical option when you’re flexible, because you take a leg the aircraft will already fly empty in exchange for accepting its route and date. If you’re still unsure which suits you, tell us your plan and we’ll point you to the right one.

Charter by jet or by helicopter

For medium and long distances, or when several passengers travel with luggage, the executive jet is the best option for speed and range. For short trips or destinations without a runway — airport connections, transfers between nearby cities — it’s worth looking at helicopter rental. If you tell us the route, we’ll be straight with you about which of the two serves you better.

Safety and certification

All flights are carried out under a certified air operation, with licensed pilots and aircraft whose maintenance is up to date. Before every flight the weather conditions along the route are reviewed; if the weather compromises safety, the flight is rescheduled. That decision is never negotiated.

Tell us the route, the date and how many will fly. We’ll respond with a clear quote and, if another option suits you better than a charter, we’ll tell you that too.
